Historic: Pope Francis Visits United Arab Emirates For Interreligous Meeting on "Human Brotherhood".
Pope Francis begins 2019 with a historic trip to the United Arab Emirates, in the Middle East. Before flying out to his trip, Pope Francis created a video with a message to the people of the UAE. His message was that of religious inclusion via "human brotherhood". However, when compared to scriptures and the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Apostles, lets see if Pope Francis' message is founded in truth or falsehood.
Pope Francis said to the Islamic leadership of the UAE, "thank you my friend and dear brother the grand imam of al-azhar, Dr Ahmed Al Tayeb...for their courage and will to affirm that faith in God unites and does not divide, it brings us closer despite differences and it distances us from hostility and aversion."
Well lets compare his comments to Jesus. Did the Jews of Jesus time believe in God? They said they did, but their plea to crucify Him-the Son of God, showed the truth of their heart, in that they didn't believe in the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. So believing in "a god" may unite, yet believing in God-the Father of Jesus Christ, does not unite unbelievers and believers-rather that belief separates.
Jesus embodies truth and His truth divides because that's why truth does. It separates-like a sword. The Vatican wants to bring all people together, like the Tower of Babel, under the pretense of "unity" and "inclusion", but Jesus said, using a sword as a metaphor for truth " 34 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35 For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; 36 and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ Matthew 10:34. Also on the topic truth and how Jesus will divide believers and unbelievers, He said on judgement day " All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats." Matthew 25:32
What Pope Francis will not do is affirm that Jesus IS THE ONLY WAY to God, as Lord Jesus said " 6 ...“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6. Also Jesus taught that true belief in God, is belief in Him-the Son of God, 40 “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me." John 10:40.
Pope Francis went on to express to the people of the UAE through interreligious dialogue that all religious peoples are brothers and sisters, "the Lord has given me this opportunity to write on your land a new page in the history of relation between religions confirming that we are brother and sisters even though we are different."
Lets test that statement with that of Jesus. During His time in Israel there were many types of people, Jews, Arabs, Romans, Greeks, Samaritans, Egyptians, etc. Yet in all the time Jesus encountered different type of people, He did not call everyone of different religious beliefs "brothers & sisters" for the sake of unity.
Rather, specifically, He said " 48 But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” 49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” Matthew 12:48-50.
So what is the will of God? Jesus said " 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:40.
So as you can see church, this message from Pope Francis is not founded in truth as taught and spoken by Jesus Christ. Rather Pope Francis contradicts that of Jesus statements making his motivation not too affirm and stand on that of Jesus' word, but to gather as many peoples as possible unto him under the deceptive interreligious banner of "unity" and "inclusion". Which the bible foretold would happen in the last days, as Jesus said " Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you." Matthew 24:3-4
